Larry Larson has long been a car nut and has been building racecars professionally since 1992. In 1996 he decided to "go it alone" and set up Larson Race Cars to produce some of the finest racecars ever to grace a dragstrip in the midwest. His expertise is not limited to chassis building as he is much sought after at the track where he performs crew chief duties for such people as IHRA Pro Stock racer Kenny Benso and NHRA regular George Scarlett. Larson made his mark in the street legal world in 2002 when tuned Justin Kalwei to a third place finish in Pro Street as well as the NMCA Rookie of the Year title.
